Anger comes so quickly
Volcanic eruptions with no time to prepare
We are intimidated by the size, the sheer force.

We try to calm you with cooling waters
Soothing words
You will not hear as you flow hard down the mountain.

You burn everything in your path.
Later there is regret. But regret cannot replace
The damaged hearts.
